Jennifer Rook

Jennifer Rook is the director of the Pension Policy Branch at the Ontario Ministry of Finance. She is responsible for overseeing pension policy development and corresponding legislative and regulatory reform. This work includes legislative and regulatory amendments to modernize the Ontario Pension Benefits Act and associated regulations, as well as leading significant pension reform initiatives such as the solvency funding review, target benefit pension plans, and pooled registered pension plans. Prior to her current role, she was director of the Strategic Pension Reform Secretariat at the Ontario Ministry of Finance, which merged with the Pension Policy Branch in June 2014.

Ms. Rook graduated from Queen’s University with a bachelor of arts in political science and completed her law degree at the University of Western Ontario.
