Chris Falkous

Chris Falkous is a biometric research actuary within the global research and development team at RGA. His current research projects include multistate stochastic mortality modelling, assessing global mortality improvement trends, modelling pandemic influenza risks, and the use of wearable technology in insurance. 

Prior to joining RGA in 2015, Chris was a senior consultant at Towers Watson, providing advice to the trustees and sponsoring employers of large defined benefit pension schemes. He was a member of Towers Watson’s specialist mortality group and led the group’s work on future mortality improvements, with a particular focus on disease-based modelling.   

Chris has a BA in mathematics from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in operations research from The George Washington University.  He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK.
